Condemnation of ‘white power’ graffiti
Racist graffiti daubed on a wall in South Belfast over the weekend has been condemned by local representatives. The graffiti, which proclaimed ‘Belfast White Power’ was painted on a wall on Deramore Avenue, just off the Ormeau Road. It was removed on Monday morning (August 25); however, community activists and politicians were quick to condemn the incident. Alliance Party MLA Anna Lo said she was “extremely annoyed” by the appearance of the graffiti. “This sort of racism seems to be
Teen gang behind ‘recreational riots’
